As several cities including New York, San Francisco, and Seattle institute predictive scheduling laws - and others like Chicago and Los Angeles are considering them - restaurant franchise concepts are proactively preparing for the possibility that they spread into more cities. According to QSR Magazine, growing better burger franchise MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes has made predictive scheduling software available to all of its franchisees as one step towards supporting its operators. “I think fair and predictive schedules and wages are a reasonable ask, no matter the level of employee,” Michael Mabry, President & COO of MOOYAH, told QSR. The company has franchise locations near New York City and San Francisco, and as they continue to expand with qualified franchise prospects, they will look for more ways to anticipate challenge and changing elements.
