Crains Detroit Business: MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes to enter southeast Michigan market
MOOYAH is expanding its footprint in the Midwest by introducing three new restaurants in Michigan within the next two years.

With nearly 90 franchise locations in 20 states, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes is looking to continue their expansion by opening three restaurants in Southeast Michigan within the next two years.

MOOYAH is already talking to possible franchise partners and anticipates opening in the region in the third quarter of 2016. Areas of interest include Ann Arbor, Livonia, Downriver, Troy, Rochester Hills and Auburn Hills. Director of Development Ardag Tachian said the company is projecting investments of $400,000 per location for equipment, furniture, fixtures, construction and franchise fees.

“We are a family-centric brand with a simple but diverse menu to appeal to each member of the family,” Tachian said.

The restaurant chain recently opened locations in Cleveland and Indianapolis and have eight openings before year end in locations including Florida, Wisconsin and Illinois. MOOYAH expects to reach 100 locations by its first quarter.
